Area consultants expanding rapidly

Consult Group, a property and construction consultancy, has opened a base in Sheffield a month after opening one in York.
The openings across South Yorkshire show that the firm is making progress quickly - Consult opened its headquarters in Leeds less than six months ago and only established itself late last year.
New director Matthew Allcard, a chartered surveyor, is to run the office in Sheffield. He joined from Lazarus Properties and has a reputation for successfully overseeing major projects, particularly in the residential, health, education, commercial, retail and leisure sectors.
"Consult Group has ambitious plans for growth even in these difficult times. Whilst other consultancies are waiting for the world to recover Consult Group is trying to work with clients in the market as it is today. There is business to be done: it is all about unlocking it, and the challenge excites me," he said.
The group advises both public and private sector clients on development and managing projects.
