Actor John Cleese has addressed the Yorkshire International Business Convention, suggesting leaders should sit back and relax to get some inspiration.
The comic - perhaps best known for his appearances in Fawlty Towers and Monty Python - told delegates that they needed to "come up with good ideas to save their bacon".
Around 1,000 people are believed to have been in attendance for the speech, which took place at the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate.
He quipped: "It's been a difficult year but it's not all doom and gloom. Thank goodness for Britain's Got Talent. We know Yorkshire's got talent."
The Yorkshire Event Centre hosts a range of events throughout the year, including the Great Yorkshire Show, which is scheduled to take place between July 14th and 16th.
Later this year, it will host the Yorkshire Antiques & Art Fair on November 7th and 8th.
